For 15 years, Carl has studied how behavior impacts investing. Finding a gap between investment and investor rates of return, Carl named this phenomenon the Behavior Gap. Carl shares his findings via BehaviorGap.com and at public speaking engagements with the goal of helping people close the gap by learning and practicing the best investor behavior. Carl is also the principal of Clearwater Wealth Management, a fee-only advisory firm.
